The originator of the Reynolds number was Osborne Reynolds.  You can read
more about him on the web.

Because his name ends in the letter "s" some people think that the number
is called the "Reynold's number" with an apostrophe.  This is not correct.
It is the Reynolds number.  Compare with Prandtl number, or Mach number,
or Nusselt number, or Froude number.

Please check your reports and please spell Reynolds number correctly (no
apostrophe.
