The minutes of the November 2, 2003 meeting were approved.

Terry Reynolds passed out the November 3, 2003, Treasurer's Report.  As of 11/03/03,
the total amount in the FVPL accounts was $13,073.86.  As of 12/03/03, the total
amount was $10,228.65.  The drop reflects a $3,000 withdrawal to support the Books
on Demand Program.

Book Storage and Work Bees.  Karen reported that she, Mary, Dana, Maria and Patrick
sorted books last month.  Books are being stored in Faith's lab.  The next work bee
will be in January.

Econo Slip Collections.  Mary reported Econo slips total $7,782.00.

Winter Carnival.  During the Winter Carnival the Friends will offer hot chocolate
and cookies.  Used book, blankets and note cards will be for sale.

Blanket Order Update.  Terry has ordered blankets.  He added that customers should
be able to use credit cards.  Faith said there will be an email going out about
blankets and cards.

Construction Update.  Phyllis reported construction is three weeks behind because
work began three weeks later than expected.  Collection Management will be moving
next week and the Reference staff will move the week before Christmas.  Study
carrels will be removed.

Book Sale.  It was decided the first choice for the book sale is April 13,14.  The
second choice is April 6,7.

The meeting adjourned at 5:00 pm.

The next meeting will be held on January 15, 2004, 4-5:00 pm.  The location will be
