Chocolate-Library Event Sat. Feb 9, 2008
from 11:00 pm 3:00 pm.
Don passed around the sign up list. We should have
enough
supplies, cookies and hot chocolate and enough used books to sell,
especially
children’s books.
Book Sale (Thursday, April 3 and
Friday April 4)
Eloise handed out a detailed spreadsheet of work
to be done
leading up to the book sale, Eloise also requested board members sign
up for
open areas.
-Next work bee scheduled Thursday,
March 6 at 3:00 pm before board meeting
- Eloise reported sale advertising will be at DMG, Tech Topics, MM,
Lode, signs around campus.
Book Cart update. Karen reported
everything is going fine.

Afghan Committee Report – No report
Art Committee – Phyllis reported
that a work by Jennifer
Slack showing at the art center would be nice addition to the Library
art
collection.

Friends Vision.
Still need other ideas of
things to fund and support.
Discussion….. doing some kind of Library user survey… try to find out
what Library Users need.
We also agreed that credit should be given to the Friends when a
donation is made by the FVPL
