Cart Update
Terry Reynolds reported that we have raised over $500 from book cart sales this fiscal year so far! The book cart raised about $100 last month.
D. FVPL
Blanket Committee There was no
report.
E. 2007
Friends' Winter Carnival Hot Chocolate & Cookie event
Some
suggestions for the next Winter Carnival sale were to do some pre-event
advertising, and have 3 people there for each time slot: One person to
man the
book table, one person for the cash box, and one person who could make
more hot
chocolate.
Children’s books were
very popular.
$302.28 was taken in for the FVPL at this event.
F. 2007
Annual Book
We
will have a book pricing and boxing bee on Thursday, March 15, at
Faith Morrison will write an article for Tech Today asking for book donations.
Eloise Haller passed out a document she has been working on with the tasks to be completed for the book sale. We discussed the items on the document.

We discussed Patricia Van Pelt’s email suggestion that we consider having Snowbound Books do a fundraising book sale for the FVPL. We decided that we would like to gather some additional information on how this might work for us.

We did not have time to discuss the library requests. These will be discussed at a future meeting.
