Quick Rommegrot
(Norweigan Sour Cream Porridge)

2 1/3c. heavy cream
1 c. sugar
1 envelope unflavored gelatin

Heat all these together just enugh to dissolve the gelatin.
Cool until slightly thickened.
Fold in:
1 pint sour cream (I used half greek yogurt).
Flavor with a scant teaspoon vanilla.
Chill for 8 hours or more.
