Dumplings

Tom's Pot Stickers (Chinese Pan-Fried Dumplings)

1 lb package Chinese Brand Pork Dumplings Way Fong Brand (in Jim's Food Market Houghton, in the frozen section near the back of the store)
2 tablespoons oil for frying

Place 2 quarts of water into a pot and bring to a rapid boil.  Drop the dumplinges one a time, being sure not to overload the pot.  Boi until cooked (10 mintues)
Remove the dumplings from the water and place on a sheet of wax paper on a cookie sheet (dumplings should not be touching).
Place oil into large fry pan and heat.  Add dumplings, one at a time, turning to coat.  Fry until the side towards the pan is browned.  Turn and brown the other side.  Add water to further steam the dumplings.
Serve with sauce composed of soy sauce, a touch of toasted sesame oil, a dash of vinegar and a touch of sugar.
