BASF CLASSROOMThe department received a $175,000 gift from the BASF Corporation to establish the BASF High Technology classroom. These funds were used to renovate Chemical Sciences 102 into a modern teaching facility with state-of-the-art audiovisual and video teleconferencing equipment. This project was started during the summer of 2000 and was completed in the Spring of 2001. The new classroom is being used regularly for classes within the chemical engineering department.
