MACHINE SHOP FACILITY

The department operates a fully equipped machine shop staffed by a full-time machinist. The facility allows researchers to design and manufacture in-house, custom research equipment and instrumentation accessories.

Most maintenance and repair of chemical instrumentation and computer equipment is handled by our electronics shop, staffed by a full-time experienced technician.
