This photograph
shows some of the bench scale equipment available at the Subsurface Remediation
Laboratory. This particular experiment was a column study where
Nitrogen, from one of the tanks, was passed through the glass column vessel
along with a pollutant, which happened to be Trichloroethylene (TCE). A
better view of the glass column remediation vessel is shown below:
