New proposed text for the Computer Committee section of the CM Charter (2/11/04 discussion):
Computer Committee - The Department computer network is part of the West Engineering Computing Network. The Computer Committee will conduct continuing reviews of the Department's computing needs, will work in conjuction with the Director of West Engineering Computing in strategic planning for the network, and will make appropriate recommendations on computing issues to the Department Chair. This committee will consist of three faculty members serving three-year staggered terms, an elected staff representative also serving a three-year term, and a representative from the West Engineering Computing Network staff. The Computer Committee may also elect to have student representation.
