Equation of
energy (microscopic energy balance)
in Cartesian, cylindrical, and spherical coordinates for Newtonian
fluids of constant density, with source term S. Source could be
viscous dissipation, electrical energy, chemical energy, etc., with
units of energy/(volume~time). Two cases are presented: the general
case where thermal conductivity may be a function of temperature
(vector flux appears in the equations);
and the more usual case, where thermal conductivity is constant.
