Absent:  Deb Charlesworth , Eloise Haller, Sandy Lewin, Dee Vincent, Christa Walck

Chairperson Amy Hughes called the meeting to order at 4:33 pm.

1)       The minutes of the January 8th, 2008 meeting were reviewed and approved with corrections.  A corrected email will be sent out later.

2)       Terry Reynolds handed out the latest FVPL financial.  The FVPL had $18,571.28, which is 62.5% of the $30,000 goal.   The treasurer’s report was reviewed and approved.  

a.       A discussion on spending will continue next meeting.  Looking for other ideas to spend the money, maybe patron work stations or intern position.

3)      Old Business:

A.  Book Sale and Book Sale Posters (Eloise)

·         Need to schedule next year’s event.  We need to check the MTU and high school schedules and let Amy know so she can book it.

B.  Work Bees

·         Feb 19th 3-5 work bee is the next work bee

C.  Winter Carnival Feb 7th (Don)

·         Set up starts at 10am

·         Drop off cookies to Carol and/or circulation office – Amy will verify okay to drop off here.

·         Don will send out the final sign up sheet.

The meeting adjourned at 4:56  pm.

The next regular meeting will be Thursday, March 5th, 2009  at 4:00 pm.
