Undergraduate Chemical Engineering Advising

Forms related to adding or changing a major/minor and course plans for chemical engineering are available in the literature display across from the elevators on the second floor of the Chemical Sciences Building (19).
During the school year the Academic Advising Office is staffed 30 hours per week. To make an appointment with an advisor, use Zimbra (Huskymail) by following the instructions at this link.
Walk-in office hours, where no appointments are needed, are held during peak times, which are at the start of the semester and during registration weeks.

Locating the Advising Office
10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm in the Chem Sci room 202M during the following weeks:
Monday-Friday of first week and Monday-Wednesday of second week (Start of the semester)
Monday-Friday of tenth week and eleventh week (Initial registration for the following semester)
The chemical engineering undergraduate advising office is located in the Chemical Sciences Building (building 19) on the second floor. This office is staffed during the school year from mid-August through April.

Summer Academic Advising (May through mid-August)
In order to keep your department fees at a minimum the advising office is not staffed in the summer and only limited academic advising services are offered. If you have an issue that needs immediate attention during summer months please call the department office at 906-487-3132.
Regular academic advising services resume two weeks before fall classes start.Transfer Student Advising
All new incoming transfer students are required to meet with a department academic advisor. Walk-in office hours for new transfer students are scheduled during the fall transfer student orientation, which is held the Friday before fall classes start. If you are not able to attend during this time or are transferring in during the spring or summer semester, call the department office at 906-487-3132 to schedule an appointment with an advisor.
