Using Excel to Implement Runge Kutta method : Scalar Case

Suppose we want to simulate a process described by the following equation:

1. Input the initial condition and the time increment

 

 
 





2. Next, calculate the four intermediate d's

 

 
 











3. Calculate the new values of y,

 

 
 





 






4. Copy the formulas until the desired range of time and then plot y vs t.
