Mission Statement
I will do my best to: be honest; objective;
strong willed, supportive and
understanding; show integrity, be a sister to
every women; protect, improve
and uplift the world around me; show respect
for myself and others through my
words and actions...this is my pledge to SIS!

Founding Goals

To serve as a base organization for to bring a historically African-American Sorority to campus of Michigan Technological University.
To develop unification and cultural diversity at the University and in the community through service.
To promote sisterhood and scholarship among members.

Reorganized Goals

To develop unification and cultural diversity at the University and in the Community through service and fundraising events.
To promote sisterhood primarily (but not exclusively) among African-American Women and scholarship among members.
To become a powerful, positive force in the community by first becoming a powerful, positive women.
